Mission Statement

The Wisconsin Institute of Natural Wellness is committed to providing quality, professional education in massage therapy and an overview of other modalities of complementary healthcare in order to insure that its graduates will offer effective, compassionate and ethical treatment to those seeking holistic wellness.

We believe that knowledge of many modalities of natural wellness and natural healing need to be made available to healthcare professionals and the general public in order to expand therapeutic options through complementary healthcare.

We believe that massage therapy is one of these modalities that offers gentle, affordable healing and wellness and encourages the body's own natural healing mechanisms without the use of chemical drugs or invasive medical procedures.

We believe that through the professional training program, student clinics and community externships, these natural wellness modalities can be made available to an increasing number of people in need of healthcare.

We believe in the dignity and sacredness of the human body, mind and spirit.

We believe that each person's pain needs to be treated as if it were our own.

We believe that we must instill in our students a sense of safe, compassionate, ethical care and a dedication to offering healthcare to people from all walks of life.

The Wisconsin Institute of Natural Wellness in Racine, Wisconsin is a non-profit organization offering a Professional Certification Program in Massage Therapy. The Institute offers a 705 hour massage therapy course that fulfills registration requirements for the State of Wisconsin. Our program offers therapeutic and relaxation techniques including Swedish, Reiki, Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Tui Na and MyoFascial Releasee. There are also classes in T'ai Chi, Yoga, Pathology, Kinesiology, Meditation, and Business.

The curriculum enables students to achieve their own goals of educational enrichment and acquire an understanding of massage therapy which will be useful in their future practices, as well as for themselves and their families.
